Five issues of the Turkish magazine Akbaba all featuring caricatures of Winston Churchill on the front covers. Several copies include caricatures of Roosevelt too.
Each measures approx. 9″ x 12.5″
Each has 12 pages including the covers except the one with blue/black front cover which has 16 pages.
Akbaba was a satirical, humorous magazine published in Turkey from 1922-1977.
Founders, Yusef Ziya Ortac and Orhan Seyfi Orbon published this magazine twice a week beginning 7 December 1922. By 1944 it was only published once a week.
